Lots of employees in the service industry have been posting receipts customers have been leaving lately, and this pizza delivery guy was no exception and posted this on Reddit:
That is how much one pizza delivery guy received for delivering 85 boxes!! Lots of people are in fumes because of this because they have been in similar situations. One commentator on the pic said:
"I don't feel bad at all for drivers if they don't make big on this. My kitchen crew - myself and one person - would show up at 6 a.m. to make the order. Our driver showed up at his normal 11 a.m., at which point the order would be ready to deliver. He would make $40 as a normal tip for carrying in two trips of pizza bags (usually the people at the factory helped him carry it!). When I delivered the same order, I always split the tip with whoever was in the kitchen. I worked at that place for five years as a store manager and never saw anyone else share their large tip."
Was this right? Should he have gotten at least 20 percent? Check out the full story below.
