Birthday: May 18 (George Strait and David Nail are my birthday twins!)
Things I like: bacon, live music, shoes, cheese, summer, NY pizza, shopping (hey, I’m a girl, don’t judge), road trips,
Things I don’t like: pickles (on anything or touching my food in any way), winter, mean people, exercise (but I’m doing it anyway), people who don’t use turn signals
I don't mean to brag, but my job ROCKS (in a country way). The evidence is in this photo album.
So, a little boy in a kids' triathlon was running on prosthetic legs. Amazing, right? (Kind of makes me rethink my "I can't run" stance, I'm just sayin') And then there was a problem, and the Marines, who were helping at the race, stepped in and took care of business.
Read about it here. Have tissues ready.
Salute the Marines in the comments. No, really, do it!
I am ashamed to say how long it's been since I've been to the dentist, so I'm not going to. I'm sure they're very nice people, but they scare the crap out of me!
So one dentist has decided to do something to make the sound of the drill a little more... enjoyable.
Read about it here, then tell me in the comments: would this make you more likely to go to the dentist?
I think we all know that as women, we have the ability to affect men with little or no effort. Now there's scientific evidence that we turn men into blathering, risk-taking but generous dudes, just by exisiting.

There is just something about dads taking care of their kids that is so hot. And a dad stepping out of his comfort zone to do something for his daughter he's never done before? Kinda like Justin Moore, who painted his daughter's fingernails for the first time ever. How did he do? Click the image to see it bigger!
Lee Brice wants your vote for the CMAs, and he's not doing a negative campaign ad against the competition! Check out his positive campaign ad!
Some things never change. Remember the movie "Carrie"? Yeah, it's like that, only with a happy ending!
High school student Whitney Kropp was shocked earlier this month when she was named to the homecoming court.
Her happy surprise turned to humiliation when she learned the reason. The students thought it would be funny if the popularity contest was won by someone who was unpopular.
Kids pointed at her in the hallways and laughed. The boy who was picked with her withdrew.
Students told her that, in case she was wondering why the boy had dropped out, he was uncomfortable being linked with her.
"I thought I wasn't worthy," said Kropp, 16. "I was this big old joke."
See how the town reacted to fix the situation here! Then leave your thoughts in the comments below!
Margaret Dunning is 102 years old, and restored her classic car herself 63 years ago, and has been changing her own oil and spark plugs ever since! Now, even though I know HOW to change my own oil and spark plugs, I don't do it myself. I like to think I'm helping the economy and keeping folks employed by getting it done at one of those fast change places. But this woman is my hero!
There will always be bacon!
Watch it and let me know what you think!
