So, I read this story, and it made my blood boil. Let me say that I have never been in a situation like the horror that happened in Aurora last week, so I don't know for sure how I would react.  But I don't know a single parent who wouldn't put themselves in front of a bullet to protect their children.  And this man not only left his 4-month-old infant on the floor (because he thought the crying would attract the shooter) and left him, his girlfriend and her 4-year-old child behind, he DROVE AWAY.

Am I wrong for thinking it's crazy that the woman accepted his marriage proposal after this?  SHE protected her children, he ran away.
